Summer - Spring 2025
Working under Keith Wismer at Wismer Architects in Fullerton, CA, I got to learn about professional practice in a real-world architectural setting. Some of the tasks I've gained experience in include going out on site walks to obtain measurements, developing presentation material for clients, creating custom Revit families with editable parameters, and correcting redlines on submittals.
In collaboration with clients and the Architect, I gained experience working with and creating Revit families for projects in the design development phase. This example involved creating a Family with editable parameters for a specific set of salon chairs our client requested for a TI.
I worked with the Architect to respond to submittal redlines from regional and municipal planning departments. This example is in regards to a residential renovation that involved modifications to the garage door and structural layout of an accessory unit.
