Santa Ana TOD is a IV-over-I 60-unit multifamily mixed-use project sited across the street from the Santa Ana Regional Transit Center (SARTC), as well as the new western terminus of the OC Streetcar. The goal for this project was to create a gateway that welcomes riders into Santa Ana, as well as funnel people into SARTC. Public program is arranged along a primary circulation corridor oriented towards SARTC, with secondary and tertiary circulation weaving into this corridor and connecting to the rest of the site. Semi-private and community program are sculpted into the interstitial space between Type IV-HT residential towers.

This project has been selected by a design jury to continue the semester in design development, with groups drafting a full drawing set of CDs.
